Mark your calendars for the Bras for the Cause 4th Annual B4 Ride: Bras, Bike, Bars & Beers on Sunday, August 25! The name is long and the ride is short, which makes it fun for everyone to support! More details will be released soon.

PAST EVENTS:

The Johnston, Urbandale, Grimes Golf Spectacular is back for year 2! JUGGS is a Putt Putt Bar Crawl event including 6 local bars; Uptown Bar and Grill, 1st Street Tavern, Doc's Lounge, Back Roads Lounge, The Warehouse Pub, and McDivots Indoor Sport Pub with 100% of proceeds going to Bras for a Cause.

There will be 2 buses running a route of 1st Street Tavern, Docs Lounge, Back Roads Lounge, The Warehouse Pub, McDivots Indoor Sports Pub, and Uptown Bar and Grill starting at 11:00 am. Each team will be assigned a starting location and a route to follow. These buses will run continually all day to provide safe transportation for everyone participating.

Join Bras for the Cause on Friday, October 27 to Burn your Bra sponsored by CDM Real Estate Services at Striking Sparrow Lounge!

Old bras, new bras, bras you didn’t even know you hated will all help burn out breast cancer this October. Cost to participate is $20 per bra to burn. With your $20 burn, you'll receive one raffle ticket for over $2,000 in raffle prizes. Raffle tickets will be sold on-site for $10 for one or $25 for three.

Enjoy live music throughout the night from Brian Congdon. All money raised from this event will be donated directly back to Bras for the Cause to help uninsured.

All auction items are provided by local businesses and supporters of Bras for the Cause. Items will continually be added leading up to the start of the online auction on Monday, October 17th. The online auction will conclude the evening of Sunday, October 23rd at a 9pm.

Bid on auction items including:

4-hour party bus rental
golfing for 4 at Talons Private Golf Course in Ankeny
4 day stay in Scottsdale, AZ (transportation or flight NOT provided)
a custom Paradise Cruiser bicycle

Dress in PINK and wear a BRA on the outside of your clothes as we ride across downtown Des Moines to raise money and awareness in our fight against breast and cervical cancers in Iowa.

Starting at Captain Roy's including stops at Truman's Pizza Tavern / Rita's Cantina, Confluence Brewing Company and El Bait Shop / High Life Lounge. The ride will end back at Captain Roy's with live music from The Midlanders. Event will begin at 11am and end roughly around 6pm. Event is limited to 400 people.

Ticket Prices:

$45 now through August 20

$55 Day of Ride (August 21)

Ticket includes:

Admission for one (1) rider
